The United States National Park Service is over 100 years old. Their brochures and maps aren't just rich in park history, but also showcase the evolution of graphic design. In Parks Standards Manual, photographer Brian Kelley pays homage to the art form with a collection of over 300 vintage maps, ephemera, and brochures from the last century. Its pages present a visual lesson in the art, cartography, and printed materials as well as Massimo Vignelli's "Ungrid System" that's been used by the National Park Service since 1972. Cloth wrapped with a silkscreened cover and spine, the book's combination of nostalgia and artistry will excite adventurists and deign enthusiasts alike.
